How long do deletion projects take?
Single-gene deletions typically take 4–6 weeks for marked deletions and 6–8 weeks for markerless deletions, depending on strain and the locus. Multi-gene projects extend to 6–14 weeks. Turnaround times begin from the date of final order confirmation and design approval.
Can you work with strains other than the three supported species?
Yes. We have extensive experience with a wide range of Pseudomonas strains beyond those featured on the platform. Contact us to discuss feasibility for your strain of interest — we are happy to evaluate any project. Custom cosmid library construction is also available for novel strains not currently in our catalogue.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We ship worldwide. Please note that we do not ship to russia, Belarus, or Iran.
Is sequence verification included?
Colony PCR verification is included in all services as standard. Sanger sequencing of deletion junctions is included for all marked and markerless deletion services. Whole-genome sequencing confirmation (Illumina, 100× coverage) is available as an add-on and is highly recommended for published work.
